Paris Helson

Paris Helson is a teacher and choreographer who has 19 years of dance training and experience. Throughout her many years of dance, her passion has only become evidently stronger and she is very eager to share her knowledge with the current and future generations of dancers.
Paris started dancing at the age of 2 at a local hall partaking in Jazz & Tap. Then at age of 4, Paris started training in various genres of dance under the guidance of Chris Duncan at her studio “Danz Factory”. In 2012, she began taking her training more seriously with studio director Darren Disney where she improved in all genres and had a intense drive to dance and continue to grow as a dancer.
At the age of 16 with guidance of Darren Disney she established the Mangrove Mountain Branch. This opportunity opened many doors for Paris as she is now the Head of Junior Department and Teaching at Tuggerah, Mangrove Mountain & Tuggerawong. As well as training her Junior Xtream troupe every week and pushing them to their full potential.
Paris’ love of dance and children also goes hand in hand with her qualifications Certificate III & Diploma in Early Childhood Education. She says studying her Cert 3 & Diploma has helped her understand and assist the development of children throughout multiple areas of dancing and the children’s wellbeing.
Paris has recently received her certificate to be a qualified Ready Set Dance teacher and has certifications for RAD Ballet and Glenn Wood exams.
Paris’s goal is to continue to teach and share her knowledge of dance with students whilst still creating a fun, nurturing and positive environment for all her students.
